Hi, I'm Edd!

I knead bread and pizza in my life, but don't we all?

Soul Dough was born from my passion for all things dough based, kick ass trucks, wood fired cooking and making people happy through the love of quality wood fired pizza.

Our dough is made in house and hand stretched. We source as many ingredients as possible from local artisan producers including our Glastonbury mozzarella and charcuterie.

We provide pizza for weddings/events with our Landrover and trailer ovens.

Dining at our permanent residency at The Pelican in Chew Magna.

Take away from our Soul Dough HQ on Friday nights in Wells.

Pizza on the Vines, first Friday of the month at Wraxall vineyard.

This ragu is a real labour of love as we cook it low and slow for 4 hours to enrich the wonderful flavours of the venison sourced locally from @stephens_butchers_glastonbury

Had such a lovely Father’s Day ❤️
Was great to have a day off and chill with the family. Doesn’t happen enough at the moment, but got to grab it when you can!!!

Actually no pizza, but breakfast in bed, pint and pork scratchings, a lovely bottle of red from @thegrapethegood and some amazing buffalo steaks from @buffaliciousuk 🤘😋🤘🐃 Good times!

Say hello to my little friend 🔥(well actually my huge new oven!)
Sorry been a bit quiet recently as been working on this project!!!
We have just installed this new black beauty in the mighty @thepelicanchewmagna Oh yes we will now be in there as a permanent fixture!! 🤘 So hyped!

A couple of weeks ago I drove from Somerset to Essex and back in a day to pick this up (not my most fun day I’ve had, but so worth it). Then the brilliant guys at The Peli have been clearing an area and building us a cool kitchen space to fix this bad boy in, and they have smashed it out. 🙏 Looks great!

I am still lighting fires most days to cure the oven but should be ready to cook in in the next week or 2!! Will keep you posted as these things do take a bit of time.

O yes it has happened!! I did say I wasn’t going to ever do a ham and pineapple pizza, but here it is for this week’s special!!! (Kinda got a bit pushed into this. Ha ha)
BUT…. We haven’t just done a normal ham and pineapple, oh no, that just wouldn’t be right. This is a special Soul Dough version!!
Fresh pineapple soaked in Rum (of course) and demerara sugar,
Local pulled ham hock,
And finished with a pineapple reduction (this is the special touch for sure)!
We also suggest a sprinkle of chilli flakes.

The masses asked for it so we had to have a go!
If you think there is a pizza that we HAVE to do then let us know and if we can make it up in our own style we will have a go!!!
